The Catholicos of All Armenians confirmed in the meeting with ARF representatives that the Church and the spiritual class will continue their mission of saving souls and protecting the nation.

His Eminence brought his blessing and appreciation to those present in regard to the accomplishments for the sake of the nation, telling them to continue making efforts in the direction of strengthening the motherland, creating a dignified and safe life for the nation's children, and overcoming today's challenges. At the meeting, the problems affecting the national-church life, the anti-church actions carried out by the government, which disrupts the normal mission of the churchmen and the spiritual life of believers, were discussed. His Holiness confirmed that despite all the difficulties, the Church and the spiritual class will steadily continue their soul-saving and nation-protecting mission in favor of the brightness and well-being of Armenian life. The members of the delegation expressed their support to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and His Holiness the Patriarch, emphasizing the centuries-old contribution and mission of the Armenian Church in strengthening Armenian statehood and preserving national identity.
