Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov discussed the implementation of the tripartite statements of November 9, January 11 and November 26.

On December 8, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. RA and RF Foreign Ministers discussed a wide range of issues related to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Under the mandate of the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group, the full restoration of the peace process for the long-term and comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was highlighted. Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov also discussed the 2020 November 9, 2021 the process of fulfilling the obligations undertaken by the parties with the tripartite statements of January 11 and November 26. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that belligerent statements and threats to use force by the leadership of Azerbaijan seriously threaten regional stability and security. The RA and Russian Foreign Ministers also discussed issues of mutual interest related to the "3+3" format, as well as regional and international agenda.
