Raphael Grossi condemned the murder of the chief engineer of the Zaporizhia NPP

The General Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Raphael Grossi, condemned the murder of the chief engineer of the Zaporizhia NPP, IEA reports. Grossi said that attacks against the NPP and its management are unacceptable and threaten nuclear safety. Earlier, the head of "Rosatom" Alexei Likhachev said that Alexander Yakovlev, the chief engineer of the Zaporozhye NPP, and his driver were killed this morning as a result of an attack by the armed forces of Ukraine.
