It is known when the opening of the exhibition of the Anahit Goddess statue will take place

On September 21, from 20:00 to 00:00, the History Museum of Armenia will host "Mother God. The opening ceremony of the exhibition entitled "Mariam from Anahit", within the framework of which the head and hand of the famous bronze statue of the goddess Anahit transferred from the prestigious British Museum will be displayed for the first time in Armenia. The Cultural Development Fund informs that more than six dozen exhibits from the rich collection of the History Museum of Armenia will be presented within the framework of the exhibition, summarizing the idea of ​​the Mother Goddess from the Neolithic period to the present day. The exhibition is carried out as a result of the long-term cooperation of the History Museum of Armenia and the British Museum with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the main sponsor is the "Keron" Development Fund. Let's remind: on September 16, the statue of Anahit, the goddess of fertility and motherhood, was moved from Britain to Armenia for about six months. The History Museum of RA prepared a document package with the British Museum, where the bronze head and left hand of the queen were kept. The bronze statue of Anahit has never been exhibited in Armenia. The remaining head and left hand from the bust will be displayed in Armenia for about 6 months, it will be in the History Museum of Armenia, "Mother God. Within the framework of the exhibition entitled "From Anahit to Mariam".
