In Lori Marz, khachkars got a new life

In the "Kurtik" medieval village of Lorut village, Lori marz, RA, the employees of the PMP Lori regional service of the KGSMN "Preservation Service" SNOC have dug out and completed one khachkar. Only the upper part of the second khachkar could be completed. This is announced by the state non-commercial organization "Historical-Cultural Reserve-Museums and Historical Environment Protection Service". Earlier, the employees of the regional service gave a new life to the newly discovered cross stone found in the fall of 2023 in the "Ktsvut" village of the Lorut village /13-14th century/ in the framework of the "New Life to Cross Stones" project. The bifurcated khachkar was united, cleaned and erected. The "New Life to the Crosses" program has an ongoing nature.
