The statement of the House of Senators of Uruguay stated: Taking into account the escalation of clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the bombing of Armenian territory by Azerbaijan, The House of Senators of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay announces: His condemnation of Azerbaijan's invasion of the internationally recognized territory of the Republic of Armenia, Expressing its solidarity with the Armenian people who are victims of Azerbaijan's attack on the sovereign territory of Armenia, as well as with the citizens of Uruguay affected by the loss of human lives, His concern regarding pressure and military clashes on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan, In the conditions of the existence of many records of the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani military against the Armenian prisoners, it demands a complete and impartial investigation, as voiced by the USA, France, the European Union, Russia, the United Kingdom, among others. Rejects the use of threats and force as a means of resolving disputes. Expresses hope that the diplomatic negotiations launched between the two countries with the involvement of mediators from third countries will allow reaching an agreement based on the implementation of international law and will ensure lasting peace between the two countries, taking into account the integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia. Urges Armenia and Azerbaijan to observe a full ceasefire based on the 2020 on the tripartite declaration and restore the path of dialogue through the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group and other agreed channels, with the support and guarantee of the international community, in accordance with the principles of the United Nations, as expressed by our Ministry of Foreign Affairs. year with the message of 14/9/22".
