He said that Umerov will be able to visit the USA, but the parties must first hold negotiations in Geneva. "As I said, we don't just meet in Geneva. In fact, I think that Rustem may come to Florida soon to meet with us. And there will be a tripartite meeting. I'm talking about a tripartite meeting between the Ukrainian delegation, the Russian delegation, myself, Jared and our teams, probably in the next 10 days. The purpose of the meeting with Umerov is to continue the discussion and explore options for reaching a peace agreement," he said.
