It should be noted that, unlike a number of countries, including neighboring Georgia, the attitude of Armenians towards Russians in Armenia remains friendly," says the message of the embassy. At the same time, they found it difficult to specify the exact number of resettled people, noting that many of those who came here in late winter or early spring returned to Russia or went to other countries. According to RA Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan, 45 percent of the more than 1 million tourists who arrived in Armenia from January to August this year are Russians.
