Currently, there is no wheat and flour problem in the Republic of Artsakh. The Minister of Agriculture of Artsakh Republic Hrant Safaryan said about this. "There are not enough products in stores anymore. Vegetable and fruit shops have been closed for a long time. At the moment, we are trying to provide the products in the reserve fund to the stores through the suppliers, the supplier-fund connection is maintained. We are trying in every possible way to get out of the created situation. There should be restrictions in order to be able to distribute food equally to our fellow citizens," said H. Safarian. According to him, the Village and Agriculture Support Fund has seeds for spring planting and vegetable cultivation. "They are already in stores. We will definitely fill the shortage from the reserve fund, we have already taken the lists. We will try to organize spring planting works in every possible way. At the moment, the most complicated issue is the diesel fuel. I cannot say exactly how many works we will be able to carry out thanks to the reserve fund, but we will do everything so that the sowing is done as much as possible", the minister assured. Referring to the issue of local meat production, H. Safaryan said that there are certain problems in the beef market. "The problem is not due to the fact that there is no beef, it is simply not right to slaughter cattle during this period, which will cause another problem in the future. There is also a shortage of fodder, some of which was imported from Armenia. At the moment, there is also a shortage of milk, which is seasonal. the milk yield will increase in the spring," concluded the head of the department.
