US President Joe Biden has ordered flags to be lowered on government buildings in the country in memory of Republican Senator and US presidential candidate in the 1996 elections, Bob Dawley (Robert Joseph Dawley), who passed away at the age of 98. As "Armenpress" informs, this was stated in the message that was distributed by the press service of the White House on December 5. US flags will be flown at half-mast on government buildings, including the White House, as well as all embassies, military bases and ships. Robert Dole represented the state of Kansas in the United States Senate for 27 years, from 1969 to 1996, and before that he was a member of the House of Representatives for eight years. In the 1996 presidential election, he was the Republican candidate, but lost to Democrat Bill Clinton, who was re-elected for a second term. As Reuters reports, Dole announced in February that he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

On December 6, the press conference dedicated to the start of the production of the "Sputnik Light" vaccine in the Republic of Armenia was held at the "LIQVOR" company, the leader of the Armenian pharmaceutical industry. This is reported by the RA Ministry of Health. The speakers of the press conference were: RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan and General Director of "LIQVOR" CJSC Sergey Matevosyan. On December 10 and 11, while the residents of Sarushen community were doing agricultural work on their plots of land in the Amaras Valley, Azerbaijanis opened fire at the tractors. This is stated on the Facebook page of the Sarushen municipality. The side mirror of one of the tractors was damaged as a result of firing on December 10. Today, on December 11, they also came forward to the tractor drivers in the mentioned area, as a result of which one of the tractors remained in the field. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

The extraordinary parliamentary elections have further aggravated the internal political situation of the country. The re-election of the Pashinyan government ignited new passions in the political field and brought forward a new agenda.

Today, in the Arabkir administrative district, the influential figures of the RPA, led by the chairman of the department, the third president of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, together with the leadership of the "Homeland" party, organized a large-scale rally. Let's remind that the RPA and "Armenians" participated in the elections held in June with the "I have honor" alliance, but they did not achieve the expected success. The representatives of these influential parties continue to claim that the current government is illegitimate, because it won the elections at the cost of electoral fraud and will not really deserve the trust of the people. They call to go out on the streets and express the protest of all Armenians against the government, which, according to them, has betrayed this country and its people. "We have a homeland and a goal: to protect it and build it for our future generations," said Eduard Yeranosyan, head of the RPA Arabkir territorial organization, director of the martial arts school, who is one of the most loyal and trusted persons of the Republican Party.

"Today, the Pashinyan government has an agenda: to destroy Artsakh, Armenia and the entire Armenian people. This crowd of people proves once again that Nikol Pashinyan has no real support in the face of the people, that he has formed a fake, self-proclaimed government, so we need to intensify the pressure and use all the legal political tools to get rid of this destructive government before a day," Yeranosyan emphasized at the end of the speech. The speech of the regional head of Archabkir received loud applause, and the gathered crowd unanimously approved his words. Artur Vanetsyan reminded that this year is the 33rd anniversary of the Artsakh struggle, and our citizens will once again prove that the Artsakh movement has not died out, and it must end with a new victory of the Armenian people. Serzh Sargsyan, Eduard Yeranosyan, Arthur Vanetsyan, Eduard Sharmazanov and other members of the alliance marched to Baghramyan Avenue to continue the action near the National Assembly.

With the elections of June 20, Pashinyan's government and CP party were simply reproduced by the use of soft power, counter-propaganda and the use of all government levers. This is how the analysts evaluate this important and decisive political event.

Representatives of a number of political forces, who were present at the polling stations on the day of the elections, recorded literally the same picture: widespread violations and pressures against them.

This time, we talked with Edgar Hovhannisyan, a member of the "Homeland" bloc, who attended the elections as a proxy of his political force. According to his testimony, in the elections, all the well-known voter attitudes, which Pashinyan used to blame the former authorities, took place.

"I witnessed how Nikol's supporters directed the citizens to vote for them, ballots were taken out of the precinct, our precinct was cut off and there was a chaotic commotion at the ballot boxes," recalls Hovhannisyan.

"In our polling station, I noticed people who entered the polling station with the ballot paper in their hands having already voted, they were definitely directed outside, I noticed people voting for the second time," Edgar Hovhannisyan told us.

According to the politician's assessment, on that day there was a special order from the authorities to remove the representatives of the opposition, including me, from the polling stations by using violence and threats at any cost.

When Edgar Hovhannisyan spoke about the election violations he saw, the chief of staff threatened to retaliate against many others, as well as himself, if he did not remain silent. However, Edgar Hovhannisyan continued to insist on electoral fraud, as a result of which the police forcibly detained him and fined him, allegedly for allowing riots.

"The authorities use law enforcement officers against opponents to oppress, intimidate and silence them," Hovhannisyan notes.

According to a member of the Hayrenik bloc, after the elections, the authorities announce their victory and present that it was a victory for democracy in our country, but it is Nikol Pashinyan's big deception, the consequences of which will still be felt by our people and our country", predicts the member of the bloc with sadness.

It should be reminded that currently the results of the extraordinary parliamentary elections of June 20 are being appealed in the Constitutional Court. Former Minister of Justice Davit Harutyunyan represents the interests of the opposition in the CC.

Hakob Nikoghosyan, a member of the "Armenia" bloc, followed the elections as a proxy of the political force he represented. According to his testimony, all the well-known electoral fraud schemes, for which the Pashinyan government criticized the previous ones, took place in the elections. "I have witnessed how the people of Nikola directed the citizens to vote for them, ballots were taken out of the precinct, the electricity was cut off in our precinct and it was not known what was happening with the ballot boxes," recalls Nikoghosyan. The representative of the opposition emphasizes that until now there are names of citizens who have died or who have not lived in the territory of the Republic of Armenia for a long time, which are managed at the discretion of the authorities and voted in their favor. According to the politician, on that day there was an order from the top to use violence, threats and to silence the active figures of the opposition. Hakob Nikoghosyan was also targeted on election day. Romanos Petrosyan, the head of the KP pre-election headquarters, called him and threatened him with physical retaliation if he continues to interfere in their affairs. For speaking out about the violations he noticed, Hakob Nikoghosyan was forcibly detained by the police and after threats, he was subjected to an administrative fine. "I didn't even have a chance to defend my rights, because obviously the authorities are using the police and NSS forces against the opponents in order to oppress, intimidate and silence them," Nikoghosyan notes. According to the assurance of a member of the "Armenia" alliance, even after the elections, the authorities continue to present as if democratic, fair and transparent elections were held and the government kept its mandate, reaffirming the trust of the people. "It's just propaganda, a lie, the consequences of which our people will still see if we don't continue to fight against this government," concludes Nikoghosyan.
